How a CREO pair is born
18 layers
The front is born from 18 layers of wood, resin and other secret ingredients, joined in a shaped hot press: the curve comes out perfect and the frame stays strong and light.
Design and cutting
I design every model in 3D and cut the front with a CNC machine. I have designed 152 of them, and I know every single centimeter of each one.
The hand
From cutting to the final polishing, every frame is hand finished on the workshop bench. Where needed, the techniques of a lifetime come in: inlay, carving, gilding, decoration, restoration.
The woods
Ebony, rosewood, wengé, zebrano, walnut, maple, birch, mahogany, ash, beech: a kaleidoscope of woods. And for the one-offs: slate stone, cork, lavender stems, real leaves, Positano ceramic.
Made for you
Choose shape, woods, lens color and engraving: your pair is made to order in 2 or 3 working days, and in the shop even made to measure in 4 hours. A protective treatment seals it against water and sweat: made for everyday wear.
