How a CREO pair is born
18 layers
The front is born from 18 layers of wood, resin and other secret ingredients, joined in a shaped hot press: the curve comes out perfect and the frame stays strong and light.
Design and cutting
I design every model in 3D and cut the front with a CNC machine. I have designed hundreds of them, and I know every single centimeter of each one. And they are the same drawings you move in the configurator: widen the lenses and the bridge stays in place, just like on the real frame.
The hand
From cutting to the final polishing, every frame is hand finished on the workshop bench. Where needed, the techniques of a lifetime come in: inlay, carving, gilding, decoration, restoration. This is also how the front styles are born: checkers, slats, bands and brow bars are different woods, cut and glued together before the frame takes shape. Not a print: real woods, side by side.
The woods
Ebony, rosewood, wengé, zebrano, walnut, maple, birch, mahogany, ash, beech: a kaleidoscope of woods. And for the one-offs: slate stone, cork, lavender stems, real leaves, Positano ceramic.
Made for you
Choose shape, woods, lens color and engraving: your pair is made to order in 2 or 3 working days, and in the shop even made to measure in 4 hours. You can also build it from home, in the configurator: if a size is not among the ready ones, the front is cut just for you. A protective treatment seals it against water and sweat: made for everyday wear.
