Maiolica: from the Positano dome to your lenses

Occhiali CREO con decoro cupola davanti alla cupola maiolicata di Positano

As a kid I saw it every day: the majolica dome of the church of Santa Maria Assunta, the one in every postcard of Positano. Green, yellow and blue, changing with the light. At some point I asked myself: what if we could wear it?

That is how the Maiolica collection was born: the patterns of the Coast's ceramics printed and resin sealed on the front, with wooden temples as the frame. Each pair carries a piece of this place, without turning into a drawer souvenir.

The beauty of majolica is that it never runs out: geometries, flowers, little houses, the dome pattern itself. Every now and then I try a new one in the workshop, and some earn a place in the collection. You will find them in the Ceramic and stone line, alongside the slate models.

Like all my glasses, the Maiolica pairs are made to measure: choose shape and size, UV400 or polarized lenses in 13 colors, free engraving. I make them in 2 or 3 days in my workshop on via Cristoforo Colombo, right in front of your eyes if you drop by.

Which pattern would you choose for your pair? Tell me here and we will design it together.
